The purpose of the Working Party on Loss Prevention and Safety Promotion in the Process Industries of the European Federation of Chemical Engineers is to promote safety and loss prevention in the process industries, at a European level, by exchanging information and stimulating the development of new methods and the dissemination of data, which may reduce the risk of fires, explosions and loss of containment in our industries.
Submit your abstract for next symposium in Florence The 14th EFCE Symposium on Loss Prevention and Safety Promotion in the Process Industries, will be held on 12-15 May 2013, in Florence, Italy. The symposium, promoted by the EFCE Working Party on Loss Prevention, is the EFCE Event #707 and is organized by AIDIC, The Italian Association of Chemical Engineering.
The organizers want the 2013 Loss Prevention symposium to be a market place for
- presenting new scientific results and concepts
- exchanging of best practices
- learning from experience and case studies
The full set of accepted papers of LP2013 Symposium will be published in hard copy into "Chemical Engineering Transactions" http://www.aidic.it/cet . The quality of this publication is valued by ISBN & ISSN numbers, referenced by Scopus and Thomson Reuters citation indexes (ISI Web of Knowledge, conference proceedings). Details on the symposium and the call for paper may be found at: http://www.aidic.it/lp2013, and abstracts can now be submitted. Read more -->
